Read A Children’s Book This Week! “Children’s Book Week” Nov 12-16, 2007

Posted by Talula on November 13, 2007

This week is “Children’s Book Week” as designated by The illustrius Children’s Book Council  (advisors to public and private school’s libarians and teachers). So spend some time with your child and read a book with them that you have never read before, or read one that you have read with them a hundred times.

Or you could even read your favorite children’s books when your children are not around; I won’t tell if you don’t!

Here are a few that I have found that are really rollicking good fun to read with one or more kids! And they all have bonus  CD’s with them to play in the car when the travel time gets a little rough.

1) Animal Boogie Paperback (also in Spanish w/Spanish CD)   Illustrator: Debbie Harter <Barefoot Books> $9.99

2) The Journey Home from Grandpa’s (w/CD) author: Jemima Lumley <Barefoot Books>                              $9.99

3) The Farmyard Jamboree (Chilean Tale w/CD)   <Barefoot Books>                                                                   $9.99

4) We All Go Traveling By    (w/CD)   author:Sheena Roberts  <Barefoot Books>                                               $9.99

all of these can be found at my website in the links (Barefoot Books) to order online.       Tuesday I will give you a list of Lullabies and Fairy Tales to send your little ones off to Dreamland while they listen to the sound of your voice or the soft music on the CD’s.
